Calorie free vs. Low calorie? Organic vs. Natural?

What are these food tags telling us?

Ok! SO had no clue that :

Splenda has “0” Calories (Really 5)

Calorie free is reallyunder 5 calories per serving

Low calorie: 40 calories or less per serving (does not mean less fat)

Reduced calories: 25% less fat

Organic vs Natural vs Free range

Organic: Produced by farmers who use environmentally friendly methods to raise their crops or animals.  Must be produced without conventional pesticides  fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering  or ionizing radiation. Products with less than 70% organic ingredients may not make any organic claims.

Natural. A minimally processed product that does not contain any artificial ingredient or added color.

Free range or free roaming: producers must demonstrate to the agency that the poultry has been allowed access to the outside.

From left to right: Organic tag, Free Range tag and Natural tag.

Kosher: Meat and poultry products prepared under Rabbinical supervision.
